At North Carolina A&T State University, she earned her degree in Psychology, gaining an understanding of how identity and confidence shape the human experience. That insight became the cornerstone of her work — knowing that style is not just what you wear, but how it makes you feel. From there, she carried her ambition to New York City, enrolling at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she immersed herself in fashion merchandising and the pulse of the industry’s capital. It was in the world of editorial styling — the racks, the lights, the rush of creative direction — that she uncovered her true love: curating wardrobes that don’t just dress people, but transform them.

Today, as the founder of The Dressing Room, Tyler fuses psychology, merchandising, and editorial styling into a signature approach that is equal parts art and empowerment. Her work is guided not only by her education and experience, but also by her faith in God, which gives her mission a depth that goes beyond aesthetics.
